Happy New Year and Welcome to 2021: Let’s Grow, Together!
Congratulations! You survived one of the most challenging years in history. We are all looking forward to a safe and prosperous business climate this year. As we begin the New Year, I look forward to working with you and helping you grow your business.
I know you have choices when it comes to selecting an insurance carrier to work with, and I encourage you to look to me and GuideOne when you have opportunities that align with us:
- Religious Organizations - We expanded our Business Owner’s Policy eligibility with three enhancements for small churches. Enhancements included:
- Increased property Total Insured Value (TIV) less than/or equal to $5 million per location (building value + contents)
- Allow for up-to five locations
- Ability to write property in all protection classes, including 8, 9 and 10
- Nonprofit & Human Services – We’re seeing really strong hit rates and write in over 300 class codes.
- K-12 private schools – We’ve experienced a number of wins in this niche recently where the GuideOne policy included more coverage at a more competitive rate than other carriers. Take a look at our school appetite. Reminder: we also write Charter schools!
- Monoline Workers’ Compensation – minimum premiums are $100,000 for senior living communities and $50,000 for nonprofit & human services, religious organizations and education (private schools).
As a reminder, please send submissions to commercial@guideone.com no earlier than 90 days of the effective date. Submissions should include ACORD apps, supplemental(s), loss runs, need-by-date and target premium.
