Now that 2021 is in full swing, I hope you and your family are staying safe and healthy. This month there are a few items I would like to remind you of:
BillingCenter launched in December 2020. We are very excited about the options GuideOne’s new billing platform provides and appreciate your patience as we work through the system implementation. Any new platform comes with a learning curve, and BillingCenter is no exception. We are continuing to work hard to ensure a smooth transition – take a look at the module below for answers to the questions we were asked most frequently over the past month.
Successes and wins in the Nonprofit & Human Services niche are increasing! With our updated coverage enhancements, we are able to serve more organizations than ever before. This year we are aggressively targeting nonprofit organizations that work with the developmentally disabled. I would welcome a discussion with you to talk through any of your upcoming opportunities and see if GuideOne’s product is the best option for you and your customers. GuideOne continues to be a carrier of choice for religious organizations. Our niche focus, comprehensive coverages, and underwriting expertise provide religious organizations with protection and peace of mind. We also offer many value-added services as part of our GuideVantage program, making your insured’s coverage with GuideOne more than just an insurance policy. Check out guideone.com/guidevantage to learn more.

Boiler inspections are a critical step in ensuring the safe operation of the boiler and overall facility. Applicable policyholders should take the time now to prepare for and schedule their inspection.
Remember that effective May 1, 2020, GuideOne teamed up with Travelers BoilerRe (TSB) to provide Equipment Breakdown coverage on our Commercial Property and Business Owner’s Policies. This change took place for all policies effective on or after 5/1/2020.
Policyholders needing to schedule a jurisdictional boiler inspection will need to identify their GuideOne policy effective date to determine the appropriate equipment breakdown reinsurer.
For tips on boiler inspection preparations and other important things to keep in mind, see our recent blog post, “It’s Time for Your Boiler Inspection.”
